Guildford Women make strong start to new SVL Season

Guildford's Women's SVL team kicked off the season with a fantastic win in their opening match on the 17th October.
The team entertained VbDC Ducks at the Ashcombe Volleyball Centre and made short work of their opposition although they were run close in the final set. They ran out strong winners 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-23).
The team has undergone some major changes during the enforced hiatus due to the COVID pandemic. Based upon a resurgence in demand and popularity in the Club's Tuesday night Open Sessions the team fielded a large number of new players on it's opening day roster.
