Communication
The Club has at it's disposal a number of tools and channels by which it can communicate with both members and prospective members.
Club Website
- The club’s official website can be found at www.guildfordvolleyball.org.uk and is hosted by ClubBuzz
- This site contains details of training, matches, results, directions to the different venues, club news and reports as well as details of the club committee and useful forms that can be downloaded
- It acts as a primary source of entry for new members interested in playing Volleyball with us
- In the past the website has also been used for storing member details with team and match management, where match notifications are sent via email and SMS text message and individuals are able to respond with their availability by replying to either message
- It is also possible for individuals to log into the website to update their profiles, access member only areas and for the team organiser to manage invitations to the squad.
- The club also has a Facebook page where pictures and videos as well as general discussions are posted (www.facebook.com/groups/9593331685)
- Although every attempt is made to keep both the Club Website and the Facebook page in sync in terms of content it’s generally the case that the Facebook page contains more up to date information
- Membership of the Facebook page is restricted and users must request to join the page and answer a number of questions which allows the administrators to limit the membership to past and present members of the Club only.
- We also have an Instagram account - real_givc.
- Periodic updates and photos will be shared by the Club on this platform via this account.
- Players and other members are encouraged to make use of this platform and share updates and photos related to Volleyball activities such as (but not limited to) matches, tournaments etc.

Outward Communication
- Currently all outward communication will be facilitated by either the Facebook page or individual Team’s WhatsApp groups.
Communication within Teams
- Communication and coordination within our playing teams is facilitated through the use of WhatsApp.
