Development
The club works with partner organisations to deliver various development initiatives and runs dedicated junior development sessions. Juniors are also encouraged to attend the open club sessions and play for our other competitive teams if appropriate.
We have a thriving Junior Section with a weekly dedicated training session and are represtented within the Surrey Leage U16 competition.
Junior Development
- Our club works with local schools both in setting up Clubs and also providing curriculum coaching sessions
- Coaches from the club are involved with Volleyball Development Camps who run dedicated development camps for junior athletes
- We provide outdoor equipment and referees for schools sports festivals held over the summer.
- We also support The Duke of Edinburgh's Award programmes by facillitating participants sucessfull completion of the Skills secion by allowing them to show regular activity and commitment to this section of the award
Student Development
- We provide further training and competitive opportunities for students at the University of Surrey and other local FE and HE institusions.
Coaching Development
- We assist in Coaching development by funding the cost of attending any Coaching Courses incl. the cost of certification and pay for annual registration fees for members who wish to develop in this important area of the game.
Refereeing Development
- We assist in Referee development by funding the cost of attending any Official Courses incl. the cost of certification and pay for annual registration fees for members who wish to develop in this important area of the game.
