AGM ...

There was a mixture of attendees representing all areas of the club (SVL, NVL) and membership both old and new and the AGM managed to transact all it’s business successfully with agreement being reached on several topics.
The redraft of the Club Constitution was approved unanimously and there was a commitment to implement a further 2 hour training session each week. This will mean the club will be staging an Open Session, Club Training Session and NVL Training Session each week. The Club training session will only be open to Club Members and will focus on providing a session for SVL teams and players to train together. The Club will look to implement this additional training session ASAP in the New Year.
Agreement around the Membership Fee structure was also set for this season and there was also agreement that Juniors (U17s) would not be required to pay Membership Fees. More details on Membership Fees will follow soon.
Most importantly, the AGM saw the Club fill 5 of the 7 Club Officer roles that will form the Management Committee. As a result of this the following Members will take on these roles with immediate effect;
• Treasurer - Robin Kamiya
• Publicity Officer - Alex Stamp
• Coaching Coordinator - Wendy Bacon
• Social Secretary - Lucie Bystričanová
• Chair - Mike Richardson
It was not possible to fill the following two roles, but the Management Committee will work to ensure that each role will be filled by a Club Member ASAP:
• Volunteer Coordinator and New Member Secretary
• Junior Development Officer
