Important Junior Volleyball Notice

Unfortunately, We will not be able to host our popular Junior Training sessions this season.

Although it was our intention to do so unfortunately, a change in our volunteer availability and subsequently we are unable to ensure level of coaching and supervision needed from a welfare perspective.

For those Juniors looking to start or continuing thier Volleyball careers we would like to assure you that there are many clubs around Surrey who provide Junior training sessions and would be delighted to welcome new members:

Calling all aspiring NVL players.

This season Guildford International will be playing in NVL Division 3SW. The experienced side will be looking to secure promotion back into NVL Division 2 next sesaon and are on the look out for players to boost their playing roster.

The team train weekly at the Guildford Spectrum on thursdays (2000-2200) and play their home matches at the Ashcombe Volleyball Centre.

NVL Countdown Begins ...

The NVL team kick-off the new season the 12th October with a home match at the Ashcombe Volleyball Centre.

The side will be taking on Southampton in the season opener and will also be entertaining Team South Wales in the second fixture of the opening day.

Welcome to the 2025/26 Season ...

Guildford International is on the lookout for new players to play with us during the 2025/26 season.

We have teams at at levels and play in both the National Volleyball League and the Surrey Volleyball League and we are looking to finalise our SVL team entries for the 2025/2026 season.

Newer players are especially welcome and are encouraged to play Volleyball in a more structured and competitive environment.

We do offer the opportunity for beginner level players to play in foundation level competitions within both junior and adult age groups.

Important Session Recheduling News ...

Please note that our Tuesday Open Sessions on Tuesday 5/11 and Tuesday 12/11 will move to Thursday 7/11 & 14/11 respectively. Please also note that these sessions will be for 60min only.

The start time will be 2100.

Apologies for the inconvenience. This is due to limited availability at the Guildford Spectrum for these weeks.

IMPORTANT : Open Session Cancellation ...

Please note that the Open Session on Tuesday 8th October has been cancelled due to hall unavailability.

The Women's Session will continue as per normal.

Our Succesful Open Session Is Back !!!

We are pleased to announce that our extremely popular Open Session which was held at St. Catherine's School last season has a new home and a new day/time slot!

The session will now be held at the Guildford Spectrum each Tuesday evening from 2000-2200 and will run along side our dedicated SVL Women's and M3 session.

This is an Open session and will focus on our novice and intermediate level players and also act as pathway session for Juniors payers transitioning to Senior sessions.

Please note that session will cost £9 for Waged players an £6 for Unwaged players.

Guildford International has a long standing reputation for providing and promoting volleyball in the Guildford area.

Over the years we have had members drawn from local educational establishments such as the University of Surrey, University of Law (Guildford) and the The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) and the various local Further Education Colleges such as Godalming College, Guildford College, Winston Churchil School, George Abbott, The County School etc. to name but a few.

We offer playing and training opportunities for all students at the recreational, Surrey League and National League level. We also offer 7 hours of Coached training sessions weekly and a sizeable discount for student members. We also have experience in supporting students through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Welcome to the 2024/25 Season ...

Guildford International kicked-off their pre-season preparations this week when our Surrey Volleyball League training recommenced on Tuesday evening.

30 players were welcomed back at the start of the season and this season Guildford International will be fielding four teams in this county level competition with 2 teams in the top Men's Division with a 3rd in Division 3. There will also be a Women's team in the corresponding Division 1.

Sessions are held weekly at the Guildford Spectrum on tuesdays from 2000-2200.
